Here’s everything you need to know about The Hybrid Geek’s hybrid battery warranty transfer policy:

 


🔁 Is the Warranty Transferable?

Yes — our hybrid battery warranty is transferable one time if the vehicle is sold or ownership changes hands.

 

This means if you recently purchased a vehicle that had a hybrid battery installed by The Hybrid Geek, you may be eligible to take over the remaining warranty coverage.

 


📝 What’s Required to Transfer the Warranty?

To transfer the warranty into your name, we’ll need a few simple things:

  1. Proof of purchase of the vehicle (such as a bill of sale or title transfer)

  2. Name of the previous owner and the installation details (if available)

  3. Your contact info and the VIN number of the vehicle

⏱️ When Must the Transfer Be Completed?

Warranty transfer must be completed within 14 days of the vehicle’s ownership change. After that, the warranty becomes void if not officially transferred to the new owner.

 


⚠️ What’s Not Covered After Transfer?

While the core battery warranty continues after transfer, the following are not included:

  • Original labor/installation warranty (if applicable)

  • Any refunds or exchanges

  • Transfer of the original purchase receipt (but a digital copy is provided for your records)
